I was entrusted with translating a flyer into US Spanish for an upcoming Art Festival. They provided a .jpg image, and my task was to deliver the translated text in a format of my choice.
Birdie's Bookmobile
They sought to expand their reach by translating their website into Neutral Spanish. With a Word file at hand, I skillfully translated the content and delivered an Excel file, presenting both the source and target languages for their convenience.
Child Development Resources
For CDR's initial translation project, I worked on a handbook outlining their program and the necessary steps for parents. They provided a PDF, and I utilized translation software to maintain the original formatting. In the second project, I translated customer forms, working with a Word format to ensure seamless integration.
Lydia Place
Lydia Place offers Telehealth and Mental Health services and they wanted to translate important documents, such as, information and consent; forms; and handbooks for their patients.
They sent all the information in Word and PDF format, so I just used a translation software to keep all the terminology constant.
Peace of Mind Inc.
Peace of Mind's mission is to educate students about mindfulness, brain science, conflict resolution and social justice to help them develop skills to enhance their own well-being and become peacemakers. They wanted to translate their book Rosie's Brain for Latin American Spanish speakers, so they contact me!
They sent all the information in Word and PDF format, then I had a videoconference with the author and checked the last details.
FarmSTAND
FarmSTAND envision a future where our food chain results in healthy, empowered communities and sustainable livelihoods and a just animal agriculture system that is transparent and accountable to people, not profit.. They wanted to add Spanish subtitles their video about community, big companies and agricultural justice, so they contact me!
They sent me the video, the English script and I delivered it in .srt file!
